I had cancer when I was 9½ months old, and am now a striving pediatric oncologist. Luckily the tumour was caught early and I was cured shortly after being diagnosed. The soul and compassion this kid has is amazing despite the horrible disease he is fighting. While I may have been declared cancer-free over 16 years ago, I will continue to fight; until every child is well. 🎗

I mainly remember Simon’s powerful words about bullying at the end of this & how truthful they were 👍😁

Simon made me smile when he hit that buzzer ❤😊 He deserved it and i love how happy his momma is, she is so proud of him and so are we!!❤ He had millions of people rooting for him.

The song is "Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson. AS a footnote, Kelly's fans were constantly tagging her on social media to watch this performance. She ultimately did watch it and she was brought to tears aand admitted that she was bawling while watching it and asked if she could perform with him one day. SO, he didn't win the competition, but got something much bigger out of it.

I lost my mother to cancer couple of months ago and watching this just makes me break down in tears. It’s so amazing to watch a young kid achieve his goals and overcome his feats. I love this❤❤❤❤❤

As if cancer isn't bad enough but when a child is inflicted it is so much worse...so sad they learn the words cancer and chemo along with their meaning. Then to deal narrow minded bullies is just heartbreaking, they do it because you outshine them! Congratulations Tyler for not using your illness as an excuse but for a reason to succeed. Your story and talents are far more inspirational than the majority of today's world leaders. Also perfect song selection, the words couldn't hold more true in so many different aspects. Furthermore a shout out to his Momma, her determination and sacrifice for her son has paid off greatly...I know it is difficult to see your child hurt physically and/or emotionally but seeing your son rise above it all and succeed is your greatest reward!!!
