IM a 57 year old retired city executive and i cannot stop listening this kid.... he’s incredible.... that video was when he was 12 years old... if i would be held responsible for everything i did before the age of 21 of would have never got a job in the public life... give his kid a break

Different jobs different requirements. Pretty sure they won't mind his video if he were something that isn't so high profile. American Idol is a brand just like Disney where they won't let the brand be tarnished.

Disney is still making loads of money and hasn't tarnished anything since they are keeping a clean image. Millions of families still buy their products.

I didnt see hate in his eyes when he was looking at Mr Richie. No racist inclinations. He was 12 when that picture was taken. Boys and girls do stupid things at that age and shouldnt pay for it the rest of his life for a picture.
