I don’t watch that show either, or much of what’s on TV...all so not worth my time. So I never knew of him, either. What an incredible voice! Blessed by God, for sure. And now, resting in eternal peace w/our Savior.✝ May his devastated family find comfort in knowing that. Absolutely, every song he sang, he “willierized”...am speechless, am sad that he left us so soon but am also glad at the same time that he indeed “left something behind” for us to forever remember, forever adore ...something to forever enjoy and thank God for wonderful gift. Oh my gosh, brought tears to my eyes. Bless his family, I can only imagine how heartbroken they are right now. He was a gifted singer but more than that a beautiful soul that touched many hearts. He will be missed and remembered.

This man's voice transcends any other sound in the room. He makes this show look like a little league with his angelic, piercing beautifulness he calls a voice. I will forever believe he should have won this show and won at life and it's the most unfortunate fact that he will not be able to sing anymore. I love this man's presence, the way he carries himself, and all of the emotions he's able to get us to experience during his performances. Rest in peace you legend, Willie Spence.

I absolutely adore this kid !! I just don’t understand how/why life is so unfair sometimes. Willie should still be here, the world needed him. But, since he’s not, I so very much wish/pray someone somehow could take all the songs he’s ever sung on the show, or wherever, and make a CD of them ! I know they’d sell, and the proceeds could help his family so very much. And also, a college scholarship could be established in Willie’s name. He’ll live on in everyone’s hearts, no doubt, but also physically if either or both of these things could be done. It’s a random thought I had while watching all his videos on here. He had such a bright and blessed future ahead of him. A CD and/or scholarship fund would be ways to keep his memory alive forever and would help so many people, especially deserving students. He was unique and definitely blessed by God. Heaven’s choir is perfect now, but our earth is forever saddened from losing Willie. Rest in Paradise. You were an angel here on earth, and now hold the real title in Heaven. We’ll miss you always. 🙏 🎶 😢💔

I just finished listening to the songs that Willie Spence sang on American Idol. My heart was so touched with each song that he sang, and the tears just wouldn't stop. When he sang Glory, that was so powerful I could see the people coming out from all over with Joy, Happiness and Love. That's the kind of messages each of his songs delivered. When I started reading the comments of his passing it actually shattered me. I was going to go to facebook to find him, and express my Joy of listening to him sing. Thank you Willie for your presence. We all have a certain season to share our purpose with the world,and you were so humble in sharing your gift. My condolences, prayers and love sent to your mother, fans,and your entire family. You all had a rare Jewel, and the world will forever remember him. God bless,😇😇😇

It is so sad that he did not win. He was hands down the best voice, the best performer and most importantly a wonderful human being. He was a wonderful addition to the chorus in Heaven when he was taken from us way too early.

2 days ago my close friend introduced Willie to me. I have spent this third day saturating myself with his recordings. Each one is absolutely amazing. His genuine love towards others is such an honor to experience. His awesome voice and incredible selection of songs form a unique masterpiece for us to treasure into eternity. Thank you God for blessing us with Willie. We will cherish him the rest of our lives.

I will never forget the first time I came across his studio session singing Diamonds. I was like whoaaa who is this? It saddens me that he passed away. He could’ve been a major star not that he wasn’t already. Shining bright from heaven big guy!!!

I guess the best of us really do have to die young. I first heard this mans' voice less than an hour ago.... and im balling my eyes out, I saw one clip of him in a random yt short, had him on half the screen and just like cars revving engines on the other half ( it was a stupid, yt short with no views ) but I still heard his voice and had to look him up it was the one of him singing in a chair in a back room or something. And as I'm listening saw in the comments, his passing; So Tragic, But Oh soo beautiful, that He was able to share his voice with the world and he will never be able to die now, not in our hearts for his memory will Shine Bright Like A Diamond for all of Humanities Future Pain. I got lucky to have experienced this in a small chorus room! Him and a few others anytime we wasn't singing his group was and they all would harmonize so good toegther! They gave me chill bumps. I just came across him on Instagram. The tears have been rolling down my face the whole time while watching him sing. Heaven couldn’t wait for him… Truly a gift from God🥹 His voice was flawless. Sending my condolences and love to his family 🙏🏾💐❤️

I honestly play around with my singing but if I ever decide to be serious, I will use this as motivation and sing the same song. I pray I’ll be able to do this man proud. Rest In Peace to a legend.
