No hate to Will, but what makes him any more special and progressive in country music than any other active country artist in America? Go to any casual bar in a somewhat decent sized town and you've got plenty country singers that almost as good, just as good, or even better than Will. Again, no hate to Will, he's incredibly talented and deserved Runner Up, but I seriously doubt he has anything going for him the same was Abi Carter does. Abi is much more versatile in genre as well as vocal range. Her control was MILES ahead of anyone else in the competition this year (and honestly almost any other season of American Idol). You wanna talk about natural talent, it's been a LONG time since someone was as naturally talented at singing as Abi Carter is. It's about the fundamental foundation in her voice, not just "we like the music she sang." Go look at damn near every vocal coach and music artist scout/label on KZread, they have been GUSHING about her excellence in vocal fundamentals. A musician's success is entirely built on their stability in music fundamentals.

I think all the shows were great. All the last 5 contestants are really great! Unfortunately, only 1 wins. Abi was the most consistent.

She was the best but there was a few others that was pretty good to very close call

I have no issues with Jack winning, but I do with Will. Jack made bold song choices throughout the competition, while Will was trying to repeat voting history, such as Scotty McCreery and Noah Thompson.
