I love Arthur and hope he does well. Look at Adam Lambert, Jennifer Hudson, Katherine McPhee. All lost. Lauren Daigle, Maren Morris, Kane Brown didn't even get to the later rounds. He has a fan base and now can succeed after the show. Chris Martin was awesome as a mentor, I agree.

Most were against him because they resented him being brought back ( anyone from last year) to compete with this year. I did recognized how much the judges seemed to love his music last year and this year was different. likely because of Grace, Willie, and others.

YES. He doesn't know it, but definitely yes. Last year, someone very very wise suggested to him that he sing a song that Paolo covered memorably on Jools H show, and Arthur did it, but unfortunately Arthur had to sing it at home w/o a band, just a track, and the tv audience was like, what?

I feel at ease enjoying Arthur's singing, he did it his way, his style.

I haven't been able to watch every show this year of American Idol. I tuned in last night and was wondering who this guy, Arthur Gunn was. I am not familiar with the music of Coldplay, so the song Arthur sang was new to me. I was glued to the TV when he sang. Whatever he did to that song was magic. I love, love, love his style and voice. I thought he would certainly win it all. He is soooooo real. Can't wait to hear what he does with his talent. Remember, Prince was also one to be insistent on doing his music his own way. I just Love Arthur Gunn. I hope he knows that we truly appreciate him and want to see and hear more.
