Dances beautifully, not beautiful. You modify verbs with adverbs, to explain more fully HOW something is done. Adverbs end in “ly”. Remember this.

Hi, I’ve been doing dance for 10 years, competitive for 6. The control in this dance was beyond anything I’ve ever seen. Lyrical is very ballet based, which makes it harder when it comes to technique. His technique was great, I didn’t see a moment where his feet were sickled (slang for turned in feet), and I liked how he also incorporated breakdancing/acrobatics into his routine. He’s definitely taken some sort of gymnastics class, considering he was able to easily flow from the front tuck into a back walkover. The best thing about this dance, is that he makes it look easy. It’s hard to nail a routine, it’s harder to make it look easy, like you’ve been doing this routine since you’ve been able to walk. Great job to you, Max! Definitely going places!

Actually, he was insane both technical as emotional. He is strong and told a story. Love this kid. This is why I am on KZread, to enjoy incredible talent!

@Rvve Duio - This was "lyrical" dance, which combines ballet, contemporary and other dance styles. He had breakdancing and even gymnastics in his piece. Dance is a physical expression of emotions, just as music is the auditory expression and interpretation of one's emotions. Combined, they can be transformational.

I’m no dance critic but this way amazing to my eye. He’s so controlled in every motion and his emotion was tremendous. Good job.

i think he 100% deserves a golden buzzer, that dance was incredible like I knew from the moment the clip started he was different and he is, he danced and it made me feel something which I love and is amazing to see a dancer can do that

I love how much Simon changed when he had his son

He's so mature in realizing that this is his talent, his gift that is his life path, and his dance was beautiful! The commitment, the strength and concentration to perform like that while appearing to do it so naturally is amazing.

The secret weapon to Max's dancing is to make his dramatic moments look as if he is moving in slow motion. It is almost as if we could go into a dream state while watching him.

well some of that is what AGT does. I hate when they add dramatic stuff that isn't really there like sound effects. It gives an unfair advantage. He was amazing without the add-ons.

@@djkid22 - Yes, the "whoosh" sound f/x when he lept were obvious (to this filmmaker & musician) as added in post-production. I also wish the director would keep the camera on *dancers' **_brief_** performances* instead of cutaways to the bug-eyed looks and exclamations of the judges or audience members, because we viewers (many times more than the studio audience) miss some of the performance. When they're *this good,* I want to see *all* of it.

The fact that Max came all the way from Australia (Great country that I’ve been to) by himself as an 18-year-old man to come here to Los Angeles, so he can compete on AGT. No matter how long he will stay in this competition, I get a feeling that he’s gonna becoming a dancing superstar someday. Those moves, acrobatics, the way he dances with heart and emotion is amazing. Congratulations Max and good luck on your journey on AGT.

i haven’t seen so much passion and soul in dance like this he’s an amazing kid with amazing control his dance was beautiful i could keep watching him over and over what an amazing audition not only is he a amazing dancer he has a kind and loving soul

*WOW!* *His musical timing and routine were simply flawless.*

Absolutely in love with everything about this kid! His carriage, his personality, his boy-next-door innocence, his love for his parents, and of course, his love for and pride in his art. He managed to make his entire performance appear as effortless and as natural as a walk in the park. With all the different techniques (acrobatics, break-dancing, ballet, etc, he put together so seamlessly, I was mesmerized especially by his beautiful, beautiful inventive leaps; high, graceful, yet manly, and...once again...effortless! The late, great Gene Kelly would have loved to dance with this boy. The world will love and honor Max Ostler for many years to come! Congratulations to the Ostler family and Australia for producing such a beautiful and talented young man!

Beyond just being very technically proficient and having the athleticism to do all the impressive tricks and jumps. What I love about Max's dancing is his movement quality. It's very unique to him, and I think that's what makes him stand out.

Interestingly, Aussie's hold us Yankee Folk in high esteem and admiration. (IMHO: I'd dare say Too Much So). " In Australia, "The Gold Standard" would be attaining success and achievement in the Grand Old USA. (BTW Mark: did you catch Another Aussie raise the roof on "Americas Got Talent" in one of the most creative, phenomenal "Pole Dancing Performances and Production, I ever had the good fortune to witness. The Aussie Terms: "BEAUT" "ACE," "BONZER" come to mind. However, I prefer the use another popular Aussie expression. "BRILLIANT". Wish I personally was in Sydney to greet Max upon his return. I will be tuning in to the Australian TV Broadcasting Network their (ABC) to monitor Max's "Coronation" LOL. Cheers Mate.

One has to develop a Thick Skin and a quiet but determined self confidence, particularly as a performer when journeying outside the realms of what is "expected" and the limits society often places on those who want to break the mold and Express Their Limitless Possibilities. He journeyed from Sydney to the USA alone and on his own at such a tendor age in seeking his Dream. He forthrightly and Boldly announce on "America's Got Talent" his quest "to become the "Best World Acclaimed Dancer." Max is a Humble, Brilliant young man. His mentorship as example, is pure inspiration of creation for others to follow. This dispite any judgement in his favor or not. The Reality and Priceless lesson to be learned, may sound more like a well worn cliche, but the TRUTH IS "It Takes the Losses to Appreciate the Wins." I love the way these ballet acts convey a story. It's almost like music taking a physical form.

Lyrical dance is so incredibly hard, and the way he showed the most moving, and compelling, story through his dance was beautiful. I’ve rewatched this nearly twenty times now, what a beautiful man. I hope so much to see more from him. 🤞🏼❤️💔🙌🏼🥹

To be honest I was not in the mood for another dance routine , so many excellent dance shorts come onto my algorithms, most of them are really excellent and I was expecting ‘excellent’ .. it’s almost a norm..,but this was a masterpiece… Absolutely incredible , I went from blasé to inspired ! I also thought this would be another so-so dancer and expected to be bored and almost got up to get a snack before he began. Wow! So glad I waited. Hands down the best dancer ever on the show since it began. I have such high standards when it comes to dance comparing everyone to my favorite world class dancers in my life time. Until this guy...everyone else has fallen short of blowing my mind. Absolutely breathtaking routine, control, gracefulness, his natural passion that shown through that kept it from seeming robotic and forced like most dancers. I look forward to following his career for a long time to come. Good job young man! Good job!👍😀❤

That was stunning. And perhaps one of the most beautiful compliments from Simon I think I've ever heard, spot on.

Jeez that takes a lot, you could tell he was a good dancer from the first look with how muscular and sculpted he is - dancing takes an absurd amount of strength and control, and he was amazing. Everything flowed so smoothly and seemlessly even when the movements wouldn't normally flow thanks to hs immense strength and practice.

This guy has style and grace. He's beautiful and a joy to see.

Beautiful dance moves. He owned that stage. Simon, "With your head held high, what he said to Susan Boyle and I'll never forget when he said those words.

Wow, just wow. From the moment he started to move you could see just how much talent he has, he made a very hard routine look so easy, the way he changed from one move to the next, so fluidly, takes so much control, and he made it seem like a walk in the park, there is nothing about this routine, that I didn't like. My dream when I was younger, was to be a dancer and a singer, but boys just didn't dance in the 80s, it just wasn't masculine enough, a medical condition also saw to it, that I'd never dance. If he was my son, I would be so proud of him, well done mate, I look forward to seeing you up on the world stage, doing what you clearly love.

I just got goosebumps on my legs as WELL as my arms when he started to dance…….! That NEVER happens……so he MUST be heading for his dream. 🤞😍✌️

I think that the young man in this video deserves massive commendation for his achievements so far and I am sure that he will be successful and bring a lot of pleasure to viewers so that family and friends can be proud of him as he should be proud of himself. But a boy or young man who boxes shows what he's made of as he proves that he can handle himself with courage. Yes that includes taking a punch like a man and being willing to punch an opponent hard in the face and head.
