Apples and oranges….both highly talented!!!!!

1st off, I'm surprised that this channel did a comparison video. Especially of both these talented artists. I'm happy to see that most comments recognize the fact that both Courtney and Angelina are each in a class of their own and NOT to be compared to each other. They are so different. And it depends on what style of music you feel like hearing at the moment when it comes to these too. Both are so unique. Angelina, is already getting notoriety because she signed with very supportive labels. Lava/Republic record. Courtney has had a rough go with her label as they wanted to change her style into a pop princess and she wasn't having it and waited it out to go on her own as an independent. She will be performing at Carnegie Hall for Clive Davis's 92 birthday( invited by him personally) this Monday April 29th, along with all the greats like Santana, Dave Mathews, Dione Warwick, John Mellencamp, and many many more. She will also soon be on her way to stardom. Please, no more comparison videos like this, especially with these 2.

They are completely different, so it comes down to personal preference and taste, not "who is better". I simply prefer Courtney.

Angelina is getting around on her singing talents whereas Courtney's just acting like a fool jumping around and then throwing in some karaoke level singing.* *I mean every major record label tried to sign up Angelina and they were all turned down including Disney. No one lining up to seriously sign-up Courteny. Make no mistake, I loved her AGT performance, but it was her dancing talent with some singing thrown in. First off they are very different artist. I prefer Angelina. Technically Angelina is more advanced than Courtney.

Actually she was 8 years old when she won ngt her 1st audition was aged 7 . ( yes i know she says she was aged 7 but that was at the direction of agt for production , timing of recording reasons .)

That's like putting Tina Turner up against Barbra Streisand, a little dumb. Courtney is a rock singer and Angelina is a brilliant singing impersonator who adds just enough of herself to avoid being called a impersonator. One sings rock the other sings classic pop/jazz chart songs, the only thing they have in common is they both cover a lot of old songs. Courtney would do Tina's Proud Mary and Pickett's Mustang Sally, Angelina wouldn't.

I don't think it's possible to compare this two really good singers; they are completely different. Anyway they have something in common, they are both spontaneous, humble, natural, and they don't know how amazing they are. Angelina, sings other singers' songs in a very personal way, transforming them into new songs, and only a very talented singer can do that. Courtney might be a rock star, but she has a tendency to move on stage almost always the same way, and she even sings her songs almost without changing tone. Angelina should have a bright future ahead of her, Courtney has what it takes to become a great rock star, but she has to be smart and try to change her way of singing, at least a little. Janis Joplin was Janis Joplin, Courtney must be Courtney, not Janis. Thanks for the video, but less extras, thanks.

I think you base what you seen from AGT with Courtney. That was a moment in time. She hasn't been able to get back on a stage due to label issues, but as of this Monday April 29th she will be back on stage performing at Carnegie Hall's New York Pops Gala concert with a long list of stars. Copied from their site the artists she listed with here. Guest Artists: Babyface, Shoshana Bean, Busta Rhymes, Deborah Cox, Brandon Victor Dixon, Fantasia Barrino Taylor, Art Garfunkel, Art Garfunkel Jr., Courtney Hadwin, Melissa Manchester, Barry Manilow, John Mellencamp, Ray Parker Jr., Carlos Santana, Valerie Simpson, Patty Smyth, Ruben Studdard, Rob Thomas, Adrienne Warren, Diane Warren, Dionne Warwick, and Avery Wilson My point is Courtney was 13/14 back then. Now she'll be 20 in July and like everyone has matured leaps and bounds from her adolescent days. I'll only say that Clive Davis wants her to perform "Piece of my Heart" so she may very well do it the same way as when she was 14 for him. But I do know she's much more than that rocker she showed the world back then. But people wouldn't know that unless they followed her path while locked up in that crappy contract she had with Arista/Sony who tried to change who she is. She said NO.

@@Isha048 Very well be 2 of the most hard working of deserving young artists this generation has seen. I don't know as much about Angelina as I do Courtney. I'm into rock mostly. And Courtney is a rock queen for sure. Her work ethic is insane. Now independent has done more for herself in one year than her label did for her in 5 years. Her album of originals will be release shortly after this concert. Perfect timing to self promote it too.

I love Angelina. Shes more than just the music. She is the ONLY one that gives me chills. Angelina can sing anything and make it better. These comparisons are billsh*t anyway. Whats the point ? To piss people off ?

This is a horrible match-up. They are both great singers in very different ways. I do not think you can say one is better than the other. If the two singers sang simular to one another, then you may be able to pic a clear winner. They sing so differently and are both so good, so who is better?????

I agree two different styles and equally great! But as I am so in love with 60's music Courtney is my choice.

It's unfair to compare these two, extremely talented and wondeful, young people! Both are different but they are also both the same! They both put their minds, bodies and soles into their performances! They can both control their very powerful and wide ranging vocals! Countney did not have a good lable and all of her achievments have not been given to her, she has worked extremely hard to get where she is now. She should have won A.G.T, and I wonder how she would have compared to herself now, if she had! So please, stop trying to create a devide between two potentially best friends and strong, young people.

Angelina sings well but sorry ... zero emotion for me cause it's too boring and many singers sing like her. Courtney rocks my world... she has her own universe/style. Nobody on earth can sing "old town road" "love hurts" or "sucker" like she did.

I didn't see why you showed only Angelina's young and she performed older and all I seen was Courtney performance was when she was getting older and Courtney is great 👍👍👍👍👍 and I give her five thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍

These performances were when they were both in there early teens. Angelina has had a great career, where as Courtney was locked into a bad contract because she stayed true to herself and wouldn't change into a pop princess. But now she's independent and back on stage at Carnegie Hall this Monday.

To me it is a stupid comparison.They can’t be rival to one another. For one, though almost of the same age they have different kind of music to sing.And one thing More Angelina can imitate or sing the song that Courtney sings I believe, but Courtney may not be able to copy Angelina’s tone of voice. Both are talented however there are many other Courtney among the singers, but Angelina is only one.

Disons qu'Angelina chante comme un chaton et Courtney comme une lionne. Il y a mille chanteuses comme Angelina et même si sa technique est impeccable, je trouve ça ennuyeux. Courtney est une rockeuse donc évidemment qu'elle est gueularde, c'est comme reprocher à Mick Jagger, Joplin, Tina Turner Brian Johnson d'être des gueulards. Pas sûr qu'aucune chanteuse ne chante "Old Town Road" comme Courtney, tandis que des chanteuses qui miaulent "I put a spell on you" on en trouve des centaines sur youtube...

Do you even know how to recognize auto tune? I can unequivocally state that neither of these girls is using auto tune. As I matter of fact after going to your channel to see if you have any background to make such a statement, I can mention here that many rap songs do use auto tune. Not saying those on your channel do ( I didn't take time to listen closely to say one way or the other). Auto tune if used by someone with experience can be covered up to not be very obvious. Knowing this, it can be spotted if you have a decent amount of experience with using it. I do. I have one of the 1st autotune units available to the public. A hardware unit Antares ATR -1a
