This is a talent show, not a singing competition. He doesn't have to be pitch perfect on the singing, he is an entertainer, and bloody good at it.

His humor goes beyond the room. He turned the seriousness of the whole show into a mock musical. Brilliant.

He could of picked another person to go on stage with him apart from a guy like Ant McDrunk and Driver Partlin. 🙄 Least Dec had the decency and professionalism to shave and look good on live telly! Ant looks like he's been dragged into a cavemans cave then back out again after a month. 🧔🏞️ or been sleeping rough like a bum for about the same time. 🧔🕴️🪤🛐💷🚬🔥🗑️🍌📰🍾🌧️🌃❄️🫕🥫

This is the most amazing comedy performance I have ever seen. The whole thing is Satire towards musicals but he fully commits to the song and that little bit of seriousness to it makes it all the funnier.

I saw him about 10 years ago open for Rufus Hound and he was easiest the funniest part of the evening. He sang this great song about home truths but since he’s been on BGT, I haven’t been able to find a recording of the song anywhere
