This is a set up, the clip is from a few years ago. She is/was a contestant and was asked if she would be willing to play a trick on Simon Cowell and got taken out to join the audience while Simon was on a break. All this is available on the AGT channel. Yes she is a very good singer.

If you dont know already. This entire thing was a setup. This girl had appeared on other less known singing contest shows. She was put out in the audiance by the producers and they staged the whole thing!
