How many winners have actually gone on to have extremely successful careers? Two? Maybe three? I know many of them are still in the industry, but how many have Grammys? I believe the number is 2. After 15 seasons?! And they both won in the very beginning of the show. No disrespect to the winners, but it's almost like winning is a curse. If you have the talent, the exposure the show gives you is enough. You really don't want to win and be tied to AI, you want to be able to do your own thing. Just ask Jennifer Hudson. LOL

Even though she did not win. This sweet girl will be known all over because of American Idol. I have no doubt she will get signed.

I learnt this year that if you wanna go on American idol and you’re not a country Artist just don’t even try because you’re already set to lose despite how talented you are

This is my anthem and i don't pass a day without listening to it. I love the arrangement they have here and how Sara deepened her voice to accommodate and match the young lady's tone and key.

Congratulations to Noah Thompson!🎉 He is deserving of so much! America voted for him, and he won fair and square! American Idol does not necessarily translate to the best singer. Noah has good vocals, but not the best out of the top 10. Based strictly on vocals, I would have preferred to see Nicolina, Leah Marlene and Christian Guardino in the top 3, with Leah taking 2nd place and Nicolina winning it. Although I am grateful to all of this seasons contestants for sharing their great talent, Nicolina is my favorite! Nonetheless, I am happy for Noah Thompson, and wish him, and all the other contestants the very best! Great top top 10! They are all stars! I can't wait to hear more from all of them! Thank you to the judges, and to all of the contestants for a great season! God bless!

I am not taking anything away from all the very talented contestants that participated this season. They very much deserve success with their endeavors. I was just expressing my love of who I enjoyed the most this year. This was a phenomenal season.. and the talent was insane. I'm quite excited for all of them to go chase their dreams. I can't wait to see what they all do. American Idol really hit it out of the park this year. We all have our own faves.. myself included. I do have to say I am so very happy for Noah.. and his future... it is well deserved... but in saying that .. they had a top 10 this year.. that no one could be mad about anyone of them taking the top prize. Anyway....... it sure is going to be interesting how AI does next year.. as this one was a game changer for sure!!! :))

@@kathyjones274 I'd like to see a broadway, gospel, R&B, rock singer win now and then. We know America loves country music but the best voices lose. Adam Lambert, Jennifer Hudson, Lauren Daigle, Daughtry, Kat McPhee etc. I can see many country singers like Hunter Girl in every bar across America. Maybe they could have a separate country idol show so another genre can win.

You nailed it on the head. Plus Americans LAP UP that whole "aww shucks" thing like Luke said. There's no other explanation. Nicolina seems to have a good head on her shoulders and maturity way beyond her years. I anticipate she will find her own path and do it her way. She's got a stellar voice that is distinct and fabulous just like her personality 😍

This performance just re-iterated what I said since day one- she was robbed as America does not want a Canadian to win & she was the best all finale & should of been in the final 3. Like Katy Perry said it’s not called American Singer but that fell on deaf ears. It’s disappointing because her own hometown couldn’t even damn vote! No hate but Huntergirl sounded awful. Noah was ok but compared to Nicolina I feel America got it wrong. They voted more for the backstory vs the music. I know I can’t control the outcome and I would be lying if I didn’t admit I am still bitter but to Nicolina’s credit she handled it way better than I would have for an 18 year old and I’m 56 😂She was so positive on Instagram lives after being eliminated and I am so proud of her! American Idol needs to go back to having the voting allowed overnight with the results the next day because if they did that this season I truly believe results would of been different. And let US and Canada vote if you are going to let Canadians compete. I am sad to see it end as it was an emotional roller coaster for me. So proud of you Nicolina and I look forward to your journey in the music industry ❤️ from 🇨🇦 Vancouver ❤️❤️❤️

Its true. The two in the top 2 weren't even that great compared to others they had in the competition. Nicolina, Lady K were better than Hunter girl no questions asked!! And they were all lucky Kenedi Anderson left the competition because she was better than everyone there. Nicolina or Lady K should have won because they actually had better voices. What a joke.

Also Cameron is Canadian & AI US person saw him singing and told him to audition. If AI is allowing Canadians to participate then Canadians should be able to vote. I am tired of hearing this excuse from others like you. AI made the rules not me.

Yes Sara asked her but the show decides what they are singing and they get the artist to assist. Also it is one of nicholina favourite songs. Hunter girl also sang same song red bird AGAIN by her self cuz guess what it was the only song she did well.
