My daughter is at the same school as his son roddy who is in a wheelchair. He has played at the school and he is such an amazing human!! All the kids at my daughters school have special needs but they all respond to this man because he reaches them through his heart of gold and his music! Please people vote for him.

This man .... wow .. not only can he sing from his heart - but he’s a natural healer.. a nurse , a father a husband.. I’m so inspired by him. Being a nurse as well- I know the sacrifices he’s making just to be here!! The shifts are long , grueling , and you spend so much time away from your family.. then he goes on to show how selfless he is by giving to children that aren’t even his own!! His voice is captivating.. bring it on Michael !!! You’re an amazing human being !!!

Yeah when that guy did the cover of Labyrinth and Simon's mom had just died. But he didn't talk, they just passed the mic to Cheryl Cole pretty much. Tyra Banks can be pretty annoying sometimes but I'm glad she wouldn't let the cameras skip away from Simon or Mel B. because apparently this guy is more amazing than we even know. the judges get to know these people, talking to them, learning about them outside of the show we see,, so when the judges say that someone is a good person I figure they know how these people act when the eyes of America aren't on them.

Michael is a foster father to 6 children. Simon is very moved by that. Simon is very harsh on his (British) X Factor contestants so it's not all about the singing. Michael's voice sounds no betters than those that make it to the X Factor finals or even semifinals. It's the type of man that Michael is that Simon is judging. He loves Michael's big heart for children. Apparently Mel B does also.

@@Anthony-cu9go although I like this guy.... Michael Jackson voice was unique, flawless and it's range was nothing short of amazing. In my opinion, Jackson voice will be extremely hard to dethrone. Hence as to why he's the king. But no matter, we comparing not only the voice, but also the voice genre. And both are extremely different. And perfection is not always what people connects with, but the sincerity of the voice play's a tremendous role as well. (It's my opinion)

I’ve listened to him with his Christian band and they’re phenomenal singers. The presence of Jesus fills the heart when you hear him and his Christian group sing. God bless to you and your beautiful family Micheal. You emanate the love of Christ in your voice and in your life.

My cousin has the same disease as you. He is the the nicest person I know, and I’m sure just like him, you have a great heart. He just turned 20, and has a machine breath for him, yet everyday he says there is someone out there in a worse situation then him. Keep fighting, I can’t personally relate to your experiences in any way, but just know that it will get better. As you grow older, you will become happier and live life to its full potential. I have mad respect for you. You are a true hero, and even though I have never met you, you are an inspiration. I wish you happiness in your life, however it shall come to you. My cousin has lived past his life expectancy and I’m positive you will as well. Peace out.

I think I read somewhere that part of the reason why Simon was so emotional with that audition was because his mom had just recently died. And yes how Cheryl respected Simons need for space was spot-on.

I do not believe Tyra Banks disrespected him or any of the other judges for not intervening on his behalf. He spoke about it on the Ellen DeGeneres show recently & seemed fine with what happened. How it made him feel, in my opinion, is what matters the most. What occurred on the UK version was different. Simon was much more emotional & throughout most of the song, something Cheryl noticed. He indicated to her that he did not wish to speak & she realized he was unable to do so.

Even though he isn’t the best singer, it takes talent to sing from the depths of one’s soul. It also takes talent to voluntarily adopt a handicapped child and be a great father to him. I hope Simon doesn't get upset with her because it was REALLY a genuinely beautiful moment. Two Dads who just get each other and love their babies and love what they do. Doesn't matter if he wins this - I imagine Mr. Cowell will sign him anyway.

Yes she was so powerful with Simon, I couldn't believe she was talking to him like that. But good for her!!! That was really beautiful

I'm glad that Tyra sympathies with Simon that's the actual 1'st time I ever saw Simon vulnerable side. Wished I was there to b in the first row to b his rock for him while going through his emotional breakdown.

He is my choice to win this whole competition. I do not cry over songs. There are only two songs that I can recall ever making me cry: "The Christmas Shoes" and "Shannon." And then he came along and I've cried twice now. His songs are all about his kids. I'm a parent. My kids are my world. I can relate to that indescribable love that only comes with parenthood. And as a child, I was abused. This man took in five boys, three of which were abused. He gave them the happy ending that I wished for as a kid. I am thankful for people like him, and the sacrifices they make for children in need.

Amen SunlightAngel87. And that is exactly what makes his performances so special. What makes his TALENT so special. Who he is and what he does, and his ability to sing, are NOT two separate things! HE is incredible so his performance is incredible. He LIVES the music, and it speaks to the souls of those who listen (like yours:)), and moves them. He is so blessed and those who hear and see him are blessed, truly. He has already won, in all the ways that matter most. Bless you and your family SunlightAngel87 :)

I think she had to force him because director told her or something you know through the earphone.. to make "interrest" because Simon doesnt cry often.. Sorry for bad english

The power of the Holy Spirit !

He has a great voice! I’ve watched several of his videos and he’s amazingly gifted. I think the reason MelB said something about him not being the best singer is because, one, he is very nervous...two, he just watched a very emotional video of his kids and anyone who sings knows it’s almost impossible to sing when you’re emotional. Another thing, he’s a man of God. As a singer myself, I know how it is to sing in church in front of a congregation versus singing a regular song in front of a regular audience. It’s so different. When you’re in church, you’re singing for a very different reason. When you are up on a stage like that, raw and fighting for something like he is (showing his kids how to live out their dreams like he is doing...trying to provide) putting all of these factors out there is a lot of pressure. I think this man has a very beautiful soul. I think his wife has a very beautiful soul. I think two people like them should be out in the spotlight, to show the world a different kind of love. Definitely unconditional. I wish the very best for this family
