Overall I very much like Simon and think that he is very solid. I alsonthink that he is likely to. Be a huge "softie." At times, he can be unnecessarily harsh. Perhaps when he is tired, or exasperated. Not an easy job to continually deal with auditions.

Alex Hooper (number 4) was brilliant. I absolutely love dark humour. The reaction of the initial judges just goes to show that some "celebrities" think that they are actually better than others, and it's also sad that they're judging a talent show but clearly don't understand comedic licence; anything goes. The Tyra joke was brilliant and it was actually true haha, think that's what sparked it. Should have started with the others then got to Tyra from a personality perspective

I think it mostly has to do with age. That child who was on BGT wouldn’t have been as funny if it came from an adult, because on AGT, they had an adult man roasted people and everyone hated it, but I bet if it was a child saying the roasts, they would’ve loved it. I think the problem is the guys attitude honestly, he came in with this really annoying approach and that isn't the way to handle it. The idea of coming in with these kinds of jokes (which the material itself I thought was actually rather good) is you have to have some charm or something going on to balance it all the nasty things you are about to say (take the queen for example) but this guy was just straight up irratating and condecending the entire way through and there was nothing likeable about him. I feel the comment about Heidi's kids was too far but other than that the other remarks were very funny but the delivery and approach this guy took was all wrong, plus calling the audience peasants didn't help much.

On that 4th one they were so freaking sensitive Simon was the bigger person

The AGT judges however, were childish and couldn't take a grown man roasting them. Simon was the only judge there that genuinely laughed it off. They would've been fine if it was a 9 year old saying these things..

But you know what I realized from the judges? They could somehow remember the contestant even when its been months or years, and I mostly see that from Simon especially in the behind the scenes where he was able to remember more contestants than the rest of the judges.

It's called "insult comedy" and, like satire, it knows no bounds! Especially when there's truth in it - it HURTS! Howie, Mel B and Heidi were so butthurt simply because they recognized pieces of themselves in his words. Simon, paradoxically, was a very good sport about it (or, he understands satire more than the others). Oh, and there's no "too far" when it comes to satire.

The Queen sketch was great!!!!! Even though all the judges knew it was an act and not the real queen....their love and respect for QE2 shpwed in the reverence and respect they had for the act...! The single greatest moment in BGT history! The Queens jokes were biting but not over the top mean. I actually found myself beleiving that the real Elizabeth would say the same things! After all,,,she was a great sport in her 2012 Olympic sketch where she is picked up by James Bond and taken to the opening ceremony. God Save The Queen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (from an American)

The crowd and judges (except for Simon), can't even take basic roasts. If the judges can't handle comedy, they shouldn't be judging it. They should replace Howie with a real comedian like Tim Dillon or Tony Hinchcliff and see how wild things get

the act number 4 if he was a kid everyone would clap instead of booing him he was way better than the kid in number 2 like way way better his roasts are so good and right on point
