Hello
Only real pianists don't clap when they are listening to an amazing piece, they clap after because they know the feeling when there is so much sound other than the pianos sound, it makes it much harder.

@jazshas

People are so uncomfortable with quiet and peaceful. When he first started the audience seemed restless. Seems like if it's not loud, rude, and filthy they don't know how to receive it; then people wonder why they have high blood pressure and can't relax. Listening to loud, word-filled music all the time is not good. Quietness helps to restore the soul.
Talent with no measures !!!

Yes, Debussy's "Clair de Lune" has that impact on a lot of people - it was one of the first classical pieces I learned as a child. There's a dramatic part that I expected he'd play, but he began to morph the song just before it, and I was drawn in further, and rewarded with the powerful (programmed) vocal moaning and the percussive accents he added. He was mesmerizing to hear and watch. What a brilliant performance! 🎹 🎵
