I really like Amanda, I think I've seen her dancing in some of Kyle Hanagami and Matt Steffanina's classes. People's weight has nothing to do with rhythm and musicality. I've dance with people who are very fit and it is like pulling a ton of bricks and I've danced with people who are full figure and they're as light as a feather. We've been led to believe that just skinny people can dance or that that is the right figure. Wrong!

This doesn’t have to be a million dollar act. It’s an audition. She needs to BECOME a million dollar act, but she doesn’t need to start there. Lots of acts less talented than her have passed the audition. She’s a good dancer. Now give her a costume budget, a dance coach, and time to work the routine.

Well said! I agree. Heidi is NOT a bad person but has been drinking her prejudicial kool-aid all of her life, has invested heavily in the limitations of large body types and made millions because of it. She simply can’t imagine the value and worth this dancer has because of her courage and joire de vivre!!! Heidi has no idea how lucky she has been to have received the body type she was born with and then has used her own smarts and hard work to be so successful with it. This dancer can do the same if given the chance, which Heidi could not see/imagine to give her.

What, will we all need to look like Gilbert Grape's mom before we're entitled to have a personal view of anything? And I never once heard Heidi say anything about this girl being too fat or too poor to win. The truth is, a dance act like that is not a million-dollar act for AGT. It's mildly impressive, but not hugely special. And that has nothing to do with her weight or her income.

Some people might say you were "superficial" to put other things before or equal to talent. It does say this is a talent show. There some people talking about how some people are bias to slimness, but some people do the same for fat. And when some performances from fat people are not outstanding either. In order to try to encourage them. I'm not saying it or nonoutstanding things can't be entertaining, but there's a different between entertaining and outstanding. I'm also not saying people can't encourage fat people. But I still would want to choose people on merit. I thought the dancer was decent, but not stellar to me. Just my opinion. Like how everyone has said they disliked something. I'm not trying to be mean or against fat people. If a thin person danced the same as her it wouldn't be stellar to me either. Also, just cause people disagree with you doesn't mean they're against fat people or a certain group of people.

It was great don’t get me wrong, but it wasn’t anything with a “wow factor” and I feel like that’s where Heidi and Howie were coming from. NOTHING to do with her size/weight, and the sad thing here is that chances are, it would’ve been a 100% no from all 4 judges if she was skinny (no sob story). that was so unnecessary for her to do. i’ve never hated or liked heidi and she was always okay to me but after this i really disliked her. she didn’t need to push her buzzer to state her disapproval she could have just said so afterwards. judges only buzz if there was something wrong or bizarre about the act and the young girl was only dancing beautifully. if she actually “loved” her dancing she wouldn’t have done something so hurtful to the young girl.

How ironic that Heidi is bothered at the end by thousands of people booing her. Judging from her reactions it’s apparently the first time she’s ever faced such a degree of blowback. That’s basically what this woman has faced every day of her life and still she has the guts to pursue her dreams. Simon knows this dancer has the talent, the drive, the heart, and the work ethic to go far.

Remember the episode with the dance troop that looked like storm troopers that didn’t get a golden buzzer in Britain’s got talent so Simon gave them one in that episode? They were only focused on her weight. they only judged her by how "inspiring" she is to "people who don't fit the mold" like wtf? judge her dancing by her dancing and that's it.

idc what her “body type” is she’s honestly a beautiful girl. and her dancing is honestly amazing. she’s also flexible, which a lot of younger dancers aren’t. she’s amazing 🥺.

thesoul2sqeeze I go to many dance schools and there are A LOT of girls who can’t even do a damn split correctly. And it hurts for me to watch.

@@coolcat5994 Well if a judge thinks the act was not good they deserve to buzz them. I've seen other acts that got buzzed mid-act but people don't think it's disrespectful. I think you're just saying it is disrespectful because she's not so fit

H Permutation Shes saying it’s disrespectful because it is disrespectful, imagine talking to someone in public, and going “buzz” in the middle of their sentence because you dont think it’s worth your time, and you walk away, simply because you can, you’re rude, end of discussion. 🤦🏽‍♂️
