Some of you are heartless. She wasn't there to win or to be judged. She was there to finish what she started for her dad and to tribute him. So, please show respect. Just because her songs aren't as powerful or explosive or unique as others, doesn't mean she's bad. She has a pure and sweet voice filled with so much emotion. She can improve. Heck, all of them can improve. But, you should at least respect that she had the guts to sing in front of millions of viewers after what happened.

It's JANE today... WAS Evie then. 'Finish what you started' is A hard lesson to learn,& to TEACH.she gets it Dad♡.there's also, "IF YOU DONT HAVE TIME to do it RIGHT,then you MUST have time to do it AGAIN! " well, she need not do it AGAIN .she won . THATS WHY WE ARE WATCHING HER 3 YEARS LATER! 😉😂 I have NO IDEA who WON that year , or who competed- BUT we are HERE,watching HER!🙏🏻.. You go Evie..dad is in you, & he left his strength with YOU to keep you going thru life... you get it🙏🏻. You win.

I just wanted to say, I admire you and want to thank you as I'm reminded of the relationship him and I shared as you sang those words so beautifully I might add. The one thing that I've come to realize from all of it is... no matter how far apart two people are it is the memories that we have of one another that bind us together. So just as my dad is still with me always, so is yours, with you. Thank You Evie.

Sometimes people like to express the way they feel by singing what they feel and the song that Evie Clair is singing is a very good song to sing about her dad and everyone should know that her singing does not mean that she is not sad it just means that no matter what happened to her dad she will never let that stop her from being the person that she is today. You should never someone for what has happened unless you have been in their shoes remember the saying "Never judge a book by its cover" some of you need to remember that.😍💖💝💓💞💕❣

She is so strong and brave. I listen to that song whenever I feel sad, even on rough day. I understand how she feels and how difficult it is for her. I feel that way too. Two years ago just 2 weeks before Christmas, my dog Bella got sick and was getting worse. She was a old dog and I actually saw her being put down. I loved Bella so much when she was a puppy, so I understand how she feels. My condolences to her and her family about the loss of her father. ❤️

She didn't choose a song to win. She chose to honor her dad w/ his favorite song, and that is the most beautiful thing in the world right now. Everyone in that theater sat & listened in silence out of respect for her & her family. She kept her composure & delivered a beautiful performance. No one can ask anymore that. Well done Evie! My heart & prayers go out to you & your family during this difficult time.
