She's wonderful. What a touching video. I can relate, not only because I lost both parents many years ago, 5 months apart, but also because I have been a singer my whole life. I have come so close to making it big, but unforeseen tragedies stopped me just short of the 11th hour. Now I am writing and recording songs again, and I am living my daydream and will until the day I die! Thank you for this wonderful song and beautiful soul. Please tell Lily how happy I am for her!

watched the full episode, as soon as she mentioned her mother passed away from cancer, knew she would get a golden buzzer before she sang a note. thats a pretty sad fact with this show. sob story equals golden buzzer. but after hearing her sing, i have to say the golden buzzer was well deserved, she could end up winning the whole thing, well done Lily Meola

Wow you guys really are the most heartless people...TALENT comes from STORIES and those STORIES CREATE TALENT. Every single one of the golden buzzers had talent. They did not get it due to their story but because of what they achieved through their struggles

@@maryp6334 My mom is still living, but I'm fearful that she won't be for too much longer (she's 72 and not well). It will be a comfort to know she'll also be cradled in Jesus' arms. Sorry for your loss, but you'll get to see her again someday. :)

I resonate so much with this song. When I first heard this song a few months ago I decided to click on this and see. It had been years since I watched AGT but I was searching youtube and all of a sudden it came up for me. I thought to myself I'll watch it because it has a lot of views so it must be good. I know that Lily probably felt like giving up her dream when her mom past away. She probably had to sacrifice so much and get a 9-5 job to take care of her living expenses. It must have been a tough decision to jump out of her "safe space" without a safety net under her but I believe God and her mom's spirit worked on making a path for her to get her dream back. In her eyes this was her last chance to achieve a dream she thought she had in her hands but slipped away once before. That's why she sings this song with so much passion and she puts all emotion into this. She's still fighting for her daydream and not giving up. She's recorded about a dozen singles and probably still making music. She's ending her tour she's been on since March of 2022 this coming August on the 5th in San Diego. Lily if you see this thank you for giving me inspiration to go get my dream back. This song was the push I needed even though it scares me and makes me nervous to make that leap from my safe space I know that God will help me through this.

The top 10 going through have what they feel are the top 10 stories with their talent. You're voting for the one who you feel tells it best. Who you feel sorry for most. Take out the "story" and just focus on talent. They're preying on your emotions instead to get the votes. That's NOT talent!!
