David Roy I never had a key to my parents house. Ever. My mom was always home. She always had a real breakfast ready for us kids every day. Cold cereal was a treat for Saturday mornings while watching cartoons on tv. (And we didn't get a tv until I was about 10 years old, lol) We lived in the country, ran barefoot and brown all summer long. It was a good childhood, and my siblings and I were very blessed with the parents we had. Not perfect, sometimes so "uncool", lol ...but always there for us.

I understand why she won, and she 100% deserved it. Because this show, despite the fact that there are many singers in it... it is America's got TALENT. And let's face it: there's better vocalists out there than her. But like, rather than just being able to SING: she's a whole package. She might not be the absolute best vocally, but she has this pivotal point to her that just draws people-- She's interesting, sweet, and ofcourse, a whole ball of creativity with those songs she can write. The fact that she's not dying away but only getting more popular after AGT unlike many other contestants is proof of the fact that she just has something special about her. She's undeniably unique.

Because she's so original, her voice, her writing skill, her melody, her personality all are great like her name Grace

Her style is so unique and her voice is amazing! You can’t compare her to any other singer! Love her voice and she will keep achieving amazing things! You rock Grace!

MaxximumAJ Angelica is a super sweet soul, just like Grace. Angelica could definitely have her own show in Las Vegas, she is a shooting star. Everyone says Grace is a miracle, but Angelica is literally a miracle child. I think that Grace definitely deserved it, but I also think that Angelica does too.

Criticize all you like, but this kid is without question amazing, supremely talented, and 100% deserving of her newfound attention, and far more. Just a whole ton of fun to watch her progress.

What a sweetheart, a diamond in the rough. Seeing her win last year damn near brought me to tears.

My aunt lives in New York. She works as a guidance counselor at an elementary school. And apparently she has a co-worker, whose son was/is one of Grace Vanderwaal's best friends! I don't know if they still talk or not... And I have NEVER met her. But I honestly just think it's kind of crazy, small world.

Grace looks so innocent..but her talent is so huge to describe her physical appearance..its like shes a little sweet baby and when she sing she suddenly turns into a rock star beyond her years.

Her Fender Uke held its tune throughout her performance, a welcome change, and the instrument gave the tune a more honest and "folksy" feeling. I'm along for the ride and enjoying every moment. Grace is so musically mature, things are only going to get better.

I follow Grace since her very first competition and reading all this comment extremely surprises me! She has a talent of writing amazing songs that catches people attention and she sings them in way that you can't help it but listen whether you will like it or not. And no she might not be this amazing crazy singer like Celine Dion but her voice is so unique and her technique is new! Her song lyrics completely give you chilled and will change your day!
