Well, I don't know the song, but I liked it because it was different, it was poetic. He did sound like he was talking or reading, but that is why it was good. He is wonderful. Keep it going, Lee, you are awesome.

You have to find the song on KZread or something the original listen to it it’s so beautiful and that’s actually how it is song. He did add some of his own beautiful parts to it but that is how the original artist wants the song to be saying like a poem, or a slow Slow down life and just talk out the song it’s just such a gorgeous song about life and love!!

I love this song. Hearing him sing it is amazing 💕

I personally listened to his performance over and over again BECAUSE OF the song choice and how he executed it so well! Artistically that was beautiful but it seems what AGT want are belters to showboat vocal range than artistry.

Exactly and someone said above here that it sounded like he was talking and I was like that’s how the song is song by the artist, and he actually made it more by bringing notes out and putting himself in it a little bit and it’s absolutely beautiful! Stop watching AGT when singers like him are just tossed out for Dog performers I’m like really that we need more of those in America! Lol When the final three on multiple occasions, disabled comedians as a disabled woman, myself, those comedians being better than the two he was let go because it just baffles me, because America has to go with magic of close magic!

yah thats what his style and its amazing

the judges are wrong this song was perfect if they take a moment to really hear the words and melody instead of a wow factor, this song can help someone whos down or feeling emotional in their lives and can soothe their feelings. Especially if someone has a story of their own and can relate. THIS GUY NEEDS TO HAVE A RECORD LABEL!!!! P.S. when I was younger I was not given the life I should have and the only thing that kept me alive instead of just going off the edge was music back then it was linkin park and a few others when I was at my bottom. so I hope this message gets to the judges and to Lee. you are an amazing undersigned artist don't give up and keep doing your career!!!!

This song choice is for people who appreciate poetry, which most people honestly don't really care for or even understand. People want energy, excitement, and unexpected high notes. The judges and audience wants to feel a sense of "wow" when the performance ends, so you better make them cry or make them feel excited. You cannot shoot for "in-between," which is what this performance ended up being. That's why the judges preferred his audition because he "wowed" them. Wrong song choice for the wrong demographic.

I sadly agree. I gave him 10 votes anyway because I go back to his audition and things I have heard on line. If he doesn't make it tonight, I just may cry.

Yea ppl like to watch a bunch of idiots with tutu torturing each other or a girl who cant sing a tune to save her life but just good at screaming. Or a huge screen with their fav judges faces superimposed to an opera singing. Voting is overrated when its from ignorami

This would actually work perfectly as a spoken word audition but not really as a song

Choices in life are very important...

This was a great performance, voice of a worldstar. Nothing more left to say.

The song is Very meaningful it has a Lot of meaning to the Song he bought so much emotion to it

His audition was so much better. Tonight, he sounded like he was talking. I feel bad for him.

That’s actually how the song is sung, he actually makes it more vocal then the original, but he is singing it exactly as it is sung by the artist and that’s what makes it an original song because there’s not many artists out there that can actually do that I can sing, but talk the lyrics out, but make it so beautiful. You just have to listen to the real song by the artist..

@@Murfloveslife Thanks for your commentary. I did get to listen to the original and understand what you said. I still think Lee should have picked another song that would have strongly connected with voters, which is very tricky for singers to do. Competing against much-loved dog acts is very difficult to do. I do hope that Lee is still pursuing his dream and also gets to work with songwriters who can help craft songs that are taylored to who he is.

I got to see this live. Honestly, it was hard to hear him sing. It's a lot different in the audience then watching it here. Here, you can hear the words clearer.

I disagree with Howie, the song itself has a lot a good range on it’s own. It’s called Flowers by Laurence Spencer. At first i thought the same way as Simon, but as i kept listening i really started to like it

But yes, I somewhat agree with you, this song is NOWHERE NEAR the level of his first audition, because that was truly spectacular. - Now, I'm no conspiracist, but what I think is a possibility is that perhaps Lee did not choose the song, the judges/producers did. Stuff like this happens countless times on the show, and now that really sucks.

He sang this really well. It's a great cover. I think i would love to hear this again and again in my lonesome and in my quiet moments. But in a big show like this, this is not the song i would want to listen to.

Frankly I Loved this song! It was poetic and sincere! That's how it came across! I just didn't get these judges. I'd actually buy something of his. I think mostly men hated it. Says something.

It sounded more like a rap song. He's just talking in a rhythm. No tone, nothing pleasant at all about the song and was hard to listen to so I fast warded through it. Very bad song choice.
