He’s a great guy. I met him in Los Angeles last year and he’s truly an amazing and talented person. Very warm soul.

Yeah definitely!.... I don't know how he could go on, I would have probably been the third, but it would have probably been a slowly progressing suicide with drugs and alcohol. I wouldn't have the guts to do it all at once. Unless it was really bad, but I can only imagine what their brothers were going through. I just hope that they made it....

losing siblings to suicide is horrible 😖, i lost all 3 of my siblings to it and my mom to cancer and it hurts so much 🤍🕊😭

man .. i'm rooting for him! and I hope he will stay strong throughout life for his parents because I don't think they could take any more heartbreak.

My heart breaks for this family. My mom attempted suicide when I was young and I remember wondering why she didn't love enough to want to live. I never thought I would ever be someone who contemplated taking my own life but I was wrong. I have been in constant physical pain for almost thirty-five years. There are many days I don't want to live but I'm not ready to die. Suicide is a permanent solution to an often temporary problem. I remember reading that if a parent commits suicide then there children are 50% more liking to commit suicide. I'm not sure if that's true but I hope I will never be selfish enough to cause my loved ones to suffer just to end mine. God bless any family who has lost loved ones because of depression.

you're strong, and i'm sure you will stay strong! if any other person with depression is reading this, i know how difficult it is, and how it affects every situation in life, and how other people who don't suffer from depression often don't understand us even though we explained it to them very logically. it's hard, and you can't fix it very easily. but you shouldn't throw it all away, even if it all feels meaningless and painful. you shouldn't. think of the good moments that you had, think of the positive emotions. you can get there again. get rid of negative people, even if it's hard. i know you can do it. laying in bed all day isn't the way to go, go out and take a walk, alone, even if it's hard to get up. just try it out. i swear, you can do it.

I don't understand how anyone is able to live through hardships and pain, whether physical or emotional without a higher power. Sometimes I pray for the strength to get through the next few minutes and I'm always given that strength. I will never understand why my family and I have went through the struggles and loses we have in this life. I have to believe there is a Devine purpose that we'll one day know.

This is what other people don't understand the level of despair that drives people to suicide! Too many people blame the victims of despair and sadness instead of realizing this world his full of negativity and hate that pushes some people over the side of the mountain!! I only have compassion and a deep hope that people will embrace each other and just love each other. This brother should never feel he deserted his brother because sometimes people just tell you everything is okay and then they commit suicide. I don't know if there was anything he really could have done. I loved his song and inspiration and hope only the best for him and his family and other survivors of suicide. We should all embrace each other and love each other~~

Every time I watch this I cry I remember getting both calls our family had a lot of loss in just a short amount of time it still hurts that I couldn’t be there but I love my family no matter what ❤️

Suiciding needs to stop . It’s contagious , parents do it children fall into depression and follow and so forth. I am truly inspired by Nick and hope people can be as strong as him .

Hi, a lot of times they don't reach out. We don't see it. My boyfriend took his life December 5th, 2016. Never ever expected that. No signs. I still regret why did I not see it. It's extremely hard for us left behind.

I don't know exactly how he feels but I know the feeling my brother took his life on our sisters birthday October 12th 2008 I will never forget the tone of my mother's voice when she called me I was about to go to work and when she told me I felt like I lost control I fell to my knees I couldn't breathe and I could only think I have to get to my mom dad and sister but I couldn't move then I hear this horrible screaming like nothing I have ever heard it was me. And since that day I have had this empty feeling in my heart. RIP Big Bro RIP to your brothers as well.

Ive lost my sibling, my best friend and then my partner of 14 years.. I still dont know how im breathing.. Every week or two i break down and become a mess. I guess thats how life will be for me. The pain that he must, and his family must’ve gone through I can only imagine is unbearable. And he harbors guilt for being away. I hope he realizes that even if he was not in Japan the same thing still could have happened because if someone is determined and doesn’t want help there is not much you can do. I reconnected with a childhood friend on Facebook. Her sister who she adored had commit suicide. Her family’s way of dealing with it was to not talk about it. She ended up committing suicide two months later. I had no idea she was in so much pain because it has been literally decades since we had talked, but it’s a horrible thing when it happens once let alone twice. I still think of this kid hope he is all right and has gotten some sort of counseling for losing his two best friends

i can relate to this so much! my mom had 4 kids, my brother then my sister then my other sister and me. when i was 5 my 15 year old sister took her life, 3 years later 1 day after my 8th birthday my 12 year old sister took her life too. when i was 8 i started getting su*cidal but i stayed strong for my mom and brother then my mom got diagnosed with cancer and sadly passed when i was 12. last year i turned 14 and my brother went with my sisters and mom, now it’s just me and i live with my friend and her mom (her mom took custody of me). i also still struggle with depression and su*vial thoughts but my mom wanted me to achieve my dream on becoming an actor and i will become an actor for my mom! r.i.p my sister Hayley, my sister Kesley, my mom and my brother Lukas 😭🕊

Becky Taylor the parents buried their oldest and youngest in the matter of 10 months. No parent shouldn’t ever have to go through something like this. My heart goes out to both kids and to the parents, let your remaining children and God help you to keep on going.

My brother committed suicide this morning. I’m 15, he was 13. He was my whole world. Last year my parents left us for individual reasons. We are in foster and he’s gone. This gives me so much hope!!!

This made me cry. I did try to take my life like take a big sharp knife and slit my throat and I made it 2 inches deep. If I made it 3 inches deep I would not be here today. Now when I listen to country music it saved my life and when I am sad 😭 I would listen to country music and calm me down. It Makes me feel good in my heart.
