He should have his sperm donor prosecuted!.... Or at least give me his name and possibly location. I know how to make cowards like that swing first, then I put them out of their misery.
I love this guy!!! Not just cuz of his story, but because of how he plays! U can tell he loves it!

Not only is your voice impressive, but the retained level of humility combined with self assurance is amazing. You will go far in life. Keep your chin up.

Its a sad thing to go through. Living in constant fear as a child. I too know exactly what it feels like, unfortunately. I ask my mom why she stayed and put us through it for 11 years before she finally left him and she can't answer. I will never blame her though, as she is my rock and my best friend and in a way I understand. If he was alive today, I'd kick his azz.
Wow. People who are abused usually either have the determination to move forward or end up in Jail. I am living proof of that. This is not about me though. This young man will go far. It would be nice to hear him do contemporary Christian music. Great voice and guitar skills.

I also was abused from birth till 2 months ago(I'm almost 41) my mom kidnapped up from my dad when I was 11. I quickly found out my dad wasn't the abuser... My mom committed suicide when I was 17, and 9 other family and loved ones. You either allow it to break you or make you. That is where so much passion comes from

this audition makes me really sad because of the story of course but also he said no one can write a song with out a broken heart but i love music and nothing like that or even slightly simaliar has happend to me so that was a little sad for me
He's so damn good. Lifelong musician from New Orleans here, and I will attest that it's as if someone dug out Johnny Cash and Joe Cocker's souls, infused it with Eddie Vedder and Mumford from Mumford and Sons and demonically shoved it into this dude.

My Dad did the same thing to me and my 3 siblings, I was beaten everyday for the first 10 years of my life. My mum could make it stop by sending us to a boarding School.

I love his voice but I’m not a fan when someone’s singing voice is wayyy different than their speaking voice. Just feels like they’re putting it on.

This voice is s little rough around the edges I hate to hear of anybody having to endure the life that his family has been through but I think he needs more time to get his voice out there!!! I don't understand why you all turn good voices away and send voices that need more work to the next level!!!
