Watching shay perform in person at show choir competitions was incredible she’s very talented

You tell how amazing of a person she is just by how everyone at the competition was rooting for her and were all so heartbroken when she was done. It takes a beautiful heart to impact people in that way.

did you not hear the section from 1:59 to 2:03? She really struggled at the top of her range there. very similar to how she struggled up there with her audition. i'm sure Shayy would want to be judged on her voice not her disability.

I've never watched American Idol but was lucky enough to stumble across this young lady's audition on KZread and for that I'm thankful. Its not often were blessed to see 1 of God's beautiful angels, and that's exactly what this young lady is.

I'm sorry, but Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder, HUGE HUGE LEGENDS ....both are blind, so what is your point ? She had Beautiful runs, but pitchy at times.....yes I cried when she sang....but a little more polishing and she will knock it out of the park.

They pick these people up. He's probably got her with coaches. That girl picked the wrong song to sing she had an amazing voice but they were right she didn't sing that song with feeling but maybe it was set up that way. But you people don't see the bigger picture with Hollywood. That's how they are and how they do shit. Fools. Omg she's black omg she's blind is always something. How about real reasons like Hollywood works that way only one can win and if they want someone they're going to take them out another way and sign them. It's a show that's all. Lisa Collins I stopped watching for the same reason she was my inspiration and I just love her heavenly blessed angelic voice and she is beautiful blessed and on angel like she is freaking awesome amazing beautiful soul raising breath taking and much more
I've fallen for this young lady. I have sight problems for different reasons. I just hope for a better future for this young superstar

She’s amazing!! There’s no doubt she has the talent and the heart to be the next American Idol, however I do agree that the timing is off. With a year of voice lessons she could come back and win it!!! I believe she can do it. This song was definitely risky. She didn’t quite pull it off.. but I know there are a lot of things that can affect that.. the weather outside.. it was windy and the emotions.. she even said it was a defining moment for her and while she was on stage she knew she came here and did what she needed to do. She must have had a lot of thoughts running through her mind.

Glad they were honest with her. So she can go and be even better with a long career ahead of her verses using her situation as a gimmick which some will try to do. She is beautiful, talented and she is going to blow us away when it's her time. How the hell was she eliminated?! That was amazing! Her voice is amazing! I don’t watch AI on tv so watching this very late. Damn, hopefully she’s kicking ass now!
It’s unfortunate that they don’t look at her cumulative performances and determine based on all of them. She can always go back. She is a smart girl and she will analyze that performance and figure out what happened and hopefully improve. Maybe she didn’t practice the song enough...whatever it is she will identify what went wrong and hopefully she will improve l.
