I just want to say talent recap, that you miss the whole point of saying it’s a fix. I am in no way going to make out I’m anywhere near as talented as Loren, she is a amazing, but I to have sung backing vocals for major stars, I have sung in choirs and I have sung in bars and clubs for enjoyment and never for money. But BGT and the X Factor were and are fixed. Now Loren will make out she applied for BGT and the judges will make out they didn’t know her, but they did. She was approached to be on the show by producers and the judges will have long known who she was way before she opened her mouth. The fact is, these talent shows make out that an amateur can make it, land their dreams and maybe in the first couple of series that was the case where your person off the street got a chance, but that is not the case now. The first auditions advertised are 20 to 30 seconds with a producer, they want to hear 5-10 seconds of your voice and a bit about you. They are looking for something to sell, not something to hear. If you get through this round, there is another round of producers, before you get close to the actual judges. They pick judges auditions as a mix of very good, ones they invited and the deluded they want to make fun and give them their 10 seconds of fame for good TV. However a normal person would never get this far. In 2009 I was invited to go on the X-Factor, I was assured by producers if I applied, I would get a judges audition and would likely be placed at boot camp with a chance of being at the live shows. I turned it down. Being invited to apply and take a place in a judges audition takes away the opportunity of others, but I also knew that because of person issues in my life, if I applied I would have never made the live shows. These shows aren’t about giving unknown people a chance, they may have started out that way, but now it’s 90% produced approaches and promises made to acts. I was reliably told of Loren auditioned they would guarantee her a place on the live shows. This is why it is fake, this is why it is a fix. She is of course super talented, and deserves success, but the whole concept of these programs is a fix or fake. Go back to the roots, open it to the people on the street and you know what it would recapture its charm. But that’s not how it works I’m afraid.

Dude, the question was "what is Loren's nationality ?" , not what is her race. But of what you told about her earlier does answer that, but you went down the wrong path on the question.

No fix. All credit to her for continuing to push for the success she deserves. She’s incredibly talented.

I sang in The Choral Artists under Brady, ( Dr. Alred). I’ve watch Loren work very hard to get where she’s at, staying true and never giving up. As a friend and fellow singer, (note: I am not the singer Loren is, and I never will be. I just sang in her Dad’s Choir with her for small while.). As I was saying, she’s worked hard to get where she’s at. Loren is straight up honest, full of integrity and intelligence. She would never pull anything shady as her naysayers are throwing at her and BGT!! She deserves every bit of the accolades she is receiving. Hang tight Loren, you’re well on your way, and I couldn’t be prouder of you! You are awesome and an example for all us aspiring singers!!!🎶❤️ 🫶

I was in an orchestra/choir with Lorin’s father years ago, and it was so awesome to see her first solo with the High School retreat in SLC, Ut. She truly has off-the-charts musicality 🎶, and humility. We hope she keeps that part of her persona. 🎉

Every time I think about what she's been through, my admiration for her skyrockets. Timid people in the industry are sheep among wolves. I am so glad she got the chance, had the courage and made something of herself. Her voice is absolutely perfect. You can tell that if it wasn't she would not be happy with it. Imagine all the training she did to get to where she is today. Good for her.

Loren deserved to be there as an amazing talent needing more recognition. I don’t think it was a fix. I’m happy she had such a shining moment in her BGT audition as it was very moving! I believe that anyone with that level of talent and who is not presently a household talent, deserves any chance that is available to put themselves in the public eye anyway that they can. We are bombarded with reels on IG and FB, TikTok, Tumbler etc. If they can make it there then why not make it on the bigger platform. The haters out there are sick people that never made it themselves doing anything constructive, why even allow them a voice of hate. If you can’t say something mics shut f…. Up!

I think she could do more epic songs for movies, Broadway, and touring/live shows/concerts. This song is packed with such emotion!

Loren Allred was a superstar already a moment she stood up on the stage of BGT. She has natural talent and by hard work she is where she is now... I wish you Loren from all my heart all the best in your life.

I saw the audition, and at the time I had no idea who Loren was. Her performance was jaw-dropping! Just blew me away. I thought the light blubs were going to start exploding. Not a fix. And she is absolutely deserving of the golden buzzer. People may have known her voice. But how many actually knew the person behind that voice? No doubt most believed it to be the actress on the movie. She is totally deserving of making her place in the movie known, and totally deserves the recognition of her talent.

If it's a fix or fake then it's the most justified and right thing ever. It's a crime to let all her glorious potential and genuine talent stuck behind the scenes without proper credit. But it's all conjecture from my part. We still don't know why a established singer came to BGT. These shows are for Nobodies or common people showing their talent. I saw her on BGT like a dozen times and now have all her songs in SPOTIFY in my like songs. I know it was a big struggle for Loren to get where she is today, but I think she deserves that shine in every way. She was like a diamond hidden in the coals, now she exposed and we know what she sounds like. Fantastic voice and looking forward to more songs. 👍💕Than you for the recap!

If she was considered a celebrity before appearing on BGT, well I didn't know it and then yes I have a problem with her being on BGT or any other talent shows but since to me she was not a celebrity before BGT, she fully deserves to be there 🤷‍♀️

I have watched Lauren's audition on BGT dozens of times and it is the ONLY song delivered I've ever heard that brings tears to my eyes every single time. I totally agree, her perseverance in bringing her voice to the world stage is what legitimizes her audition. This performance was one of the greatest female vocal performances of all time. Full disclosure, I am an audiophile headphone listener and multi-genre music fan. And on audiophile headphones like the Arya Stealth V3 and Mojo 2 dac/amp you are transported into the front seat of the auditorium to hear every breath mark, nuance and dramatic swells in her vocals. When you hear and see her mind-blowing audition, it is powerful, hyper emotional, stunningly nuanced and blows the roof off the auditorium in her final crescendo. Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion and Ariana Grande have nothing on her. This was the most incredible female vocal of all time!

I think she deserves this chance and I'm happy she has stepped up to seize it.

I have never heard of her until your video popped up, which is strange bc I've been watching A LOT of these talent videos lately as well over the many years and she NEVER pops up on my feed / recommends. YT has purposely kept the videos of her from being seen. The poor lady, all her life she's never been given the credit she deserves, and she's STILL being suppressed on YT.

One of the saddest realities of modern times is that the internet gives everyone a voice (to speak out), but too many either never use that voice responsibly. People who should know better take great pleasure in hating, deriding, and ripping people apart. And it is easy to do so because they can exercise their voice behind a cushion of relative anonymity. But take someone who has true talent and who can't seem to get past the glass wall. She had the courage to keep trying and is only now finally getting somewhere. Good for her and please stop with the hating!

Special voice - special person . If you are naturally shy, preferring the background, it is psychologically and physiologically extreme to overcome the confrontation being 'in the spotlight'. Critics can say what they like - just listen. A beautiful voice, a real person with hopes and fears, and a gracious lady above all else.
