the ONLY reason they were struggling to send him through was because he didn’t have some sad soppy backstory about insecurity, bullying, etc. this show isn’t about talent anymore it’s about who can invoke the most pity from the judges (not that their suffering is invalid or anything but it shouldn’t determine wether or not they win a _talent_ competition) he is a good singer and that should be the only thing they are judging him on

No peak point which made the performance a little boring right around the end imo. But yeah who knows, once he has a mentor, maybe he can make his performance more interesting

I watched this season and it was said he had covid and had to wait to come back to AGT. He did one more performance (when the party’s over by Billie Eilish) but unfortunately didn’t make it through after that

I love his tone... I love his charisma and I want to see him go far.

Thomas seems like a really sweet kid. He was nervous and vulnerable. He didn't act cocky or pretentious. I think he is very likable. I thoroughly enjoyed his performance. I loved the song and his beautiful voice . I can't wait to hear him sing again.

I love the fact that the audience was so captivated by him, no one said a word and I absolutely love that song. If Howie would have listened to the words and how this kid showed his pain in this song from his heart he would have realized it's not about being nervous I thought he did a fabulous job. I can. That’s my cousin. I grew up with him and knew he’d be something one day.

His vocal technique with this song is so suttle and soft, it just warms my heart and hits a deep emotion inside that I can't explain. It's not his looks that draw me in, it's his voice.

This boy is a role model for all men. It's brave to expose ones feelings in a song. Men should not be afraid to show theire emotions. Love him!

For me it was a throwback tone and delivery like back in the 20s and 30s w the rapid yet still pleasing vibrato and great use of dynamics to draw the listener in, needs to work on breath got a little flat at times but what a raw gem of an instrument.

Wow, he is absolutely amazing. The texture in his voice is so unique. He sounds so soft and gentle and sad and sincere. In short, it was divine. The girl behind Simon Cowell with the open mouth at 2:06 seems to think so too, lol.

I love him the most because he's confident of his talent. He doesn't have a sad backstory to envoke pity. He's there to showcase that's he's probably got what it takes and wants to have a good experience. He's real and that what matters 💯❤️

I bet he was nervous the first time he played football but I'm sure he's not nervous anymore. We all learn and grow. Give the young man a chance!!! Omg ! Howie . Idk if he showed how nervous he was. You can be nervous all you want but not all people show it. Thomas showed it. And Idk what to think about the performance. I thought it was weird. Not good but not bad
