I think Katy wasn’t able to accept how good she was at remaking her song
Her voice is great but her confidence is on another level. She owned the stage, the song and the room. It was like she did this every day. As easy as going through a drive thru at a fast food joint.
That run on brakes. I was done. She gave me a little Ariana, a little Tori, a little Jo Jo, and a little Sia in her tone. Man I’m obsessed!
THIS GIRL HAD THE FROSTING AND THE CAKE. Yes it had a lot of runs, bordering on too much, but her beautiful chest voice was there, her tone was crystal clear, and her belt was phenomenal. The cake was there.
She's THE FROSTING, THE CAKE, AND THE SPRINKLES. They better stop acting up.
That wasn't constructive criticism, that was "hating" that was jealousy. Beautiful young girl, beautiful voice!!!
This young lady has first class runs. I love her voice. She actually made Katy's song sound better.

Completley honest, those are some of the best runs and high notes Ive heard in a while. Her voice is also so unique and calming however it is powerful at the same time. Wow.

It’s interesting to me how they pick and choose who to be hyper critical of. Like they tore her up about her runs and vocal tricks? But I just watched them praise to the high heaven 10 people who were legit screaming but they called it power. This girl has pipes and she knows how to use them. It’s stylistic. Ever heard of Tori Kelly? Mariah Carey? Arian Grande? Come on now.
I'm so confused why the judges were so overly critical. In my opinion she sang better than any of the judges and most the people I've seen on the show. I was genuinely shook.

I have to disagree with them. Her runs were on point. She had me at hello and keep me engaged the whole song. I think Katie was a little butt hurt that a young women came in and out sang her on her own song. I hope she keeps up her style and grace and stays who she is not what the Hollywood industry wants. Music producers need to let musicians do what they want musically and if people like them they will buy their music.
