buz butler I so agree that is why we are so moved because he is pure and represents the best of us and his mama, boy oh boy she is just as amazing as his dad and siblings because they give him pure love and shelter to nurture his talent by God and his angels, I imagine at night they come in his room and help him practice for his performance and comfort him to get good rest. And stay with him on that stage. ❤️

Music has always been my getaway, and I just needed some hope. So I played this song and began to dance for what you can call dancing in a wheelchair. At 1 in the morning inside my tiny bedroom. DownEast Gal81, this is prime example of why punctuation matters. Elaine just used the wrong punctuation. They were supposed to put a question mark at the end, not a period, in order to communicate themselves properly. It is supposed to say “Wasn’t that (the standing ovation) beautiful?”, which is a rhetorical question.

@@themanstan0785 facts. I'm sorry. Say I'm a dick Idc. But let's spit facts for a second. Yes, what he does is amazing, especially w/ his disability, but he's not as good as most of the people on the show this year. Personally, I liked Robert Finley. Nobody has created music like that since the legendary Otis Redding. He was sensational. And he's gone. That's the thing about this show. It's not America's Got Talent anymore. It's America's Got Sympathy. He's getting pity votes. Which is shitty. If he DIDN'T have a disability, people wouldn't be going as crazy about him as they are. I'm a musician myself all my life, and when I hear music on this show, I close my eyes. He doesn't even compare to Robert's soul, or to Benicio Bryant's lyricism. That's what the sad part is. As I said, I don't knock him at ALL, he's a gift and a blessing. But, there are much more talented people on the show, and they're being underdogged because he has a disability. It's just not fair.

Autistic people can actually be extremely intelligent and creative, using what ways they can to communicate and express themselves to other people. I went to school with this kid named Rex, he was autistic and was kind of stressing and would attack people out of frustration in PE. But in the math classroom he was a wiz and would help a lot of people out with their work after he finished his.

@@tristancoveny7664 I bet you he'd probably would have had a harder time with all his senses intact. To see the things we see and the negativity all around us can put a damper on our talent, our imagination and our creativity. He has the privilege of seeing the world as he imagines it and I bet you it has a lot to do with the talent we now appreciate. I mean, we that have everything we know we are blessed but guess what, we use our sight to judge others and even worse, to judge ourselves. Kodi will most probably never feel insecure about his height, his body (if he's slim or fat) if the girl or guy he loves looks like what is acceptable to the world etc. I know it's probably not easy for him, I use probably because he's never had his sights so to him it's easy to do the things we think are not easy for him, it might have been exceptionally difficult for his parents but just take a look at the end product, HE IS THE MAN WE HAVE COME TO KNOW AS KODI LEE. We know him and he stands out for us because of how unique he is.

@Chris Luna EXACTLY. TY DUDE.
