I love all of them so much, they really all deserved to win. I'm an enormoussss Sofie Dossi fan tho and I loved her act so much and I think she did so beautifully and amazing, but the way Grace became so emotional and was so sweet, especially with her amazing original songs, I believe she really did deserve to win.

This is probably one of the most strongest final in the history of AGT

I now I love graces reaction too Sofie, Sofie and grace were both amazing as well as every one else and I’m a contortionist so of course I wished Sofie won but grace was amazing too

watching all these acts at the time were one of the best moments of my life, grace vanderwaal is literally one of the most talented people in the world especially at such a young age, that's what makes her stand out

I feel like Sofie should have won, what she does it truly incredible and mesmerising, I tried doing some of the easier things she does in her yt contortion videos and I can't even do those coz it's so hard! And the way she holds herself up on the Ariel hoop with only her neck!! And her showmanship and everything is crazy good

I’m so happy that grace won! Grace has really changed over these years.

One of ,maybe the best top 10 ever, and a sweet ,innocent (but extremely talented ) 12 year old grabs the gold! Over half of the finalists could have won in a different season , but America got it right ! The most unbelievable part is that Grace keeps getting better !

And many overseas talent shows try to compare their winner with this but the only talent show that comes even close to this is BGT. Places like Sweden, Norway and Germany have about 1/8 of the talent each season that this show does

I agree. I've been watching and re-watching this season for a long time now. I think they grow close because of the joined tension. They KNOW they are competing, but they are SO anxious, they just can't NOT respect each other.

Catherine I think the people who would not act as you describe would get weeded out very early on. I would imagine a lot of people that are full of themselves never even get an audition. And in the next season, I think Angelica was happier that her friend won than she was sad that she didn't.

Spectacular Finale. They all could've won, and that's rare!

Yes. They all did an amazing job. Truly phenomenal performances from them all. I thought it was one of the best seasons AGT has ever had. I just personally feel that Grace was more than just a beautiful voice. She had a unique presence and a purity that glowed when she performed. All original material. She seemed to be a natural born gift to music. That’s just my opinion tho. Everyone’s opinions are valid and it’s a shame that as far as winners go, there could only be one. Stay safe and be well.

As Nick Cannon said on the finales of season 11 of AGT less then 1% of the total votes separate the three finalist (Grace Vanderwaal ~ first place) (The Clairvoyants ~ second place) (Jon Dorenbos ~ third place) it was the closest finish in the show history. There no way to monitor how the home viewer's will cast their vote? not all votes received by a contestant are base on talents alone there are other factors. As the judges say on AGT "You got to up your game!" in all of Sofie Dossi performances I thought she did.

Lammy 14 grace writes her own music and is a self taught singer AND ukulele player. AND has a beautiful voice . AND is 12 yrs old. There’s always that flexible one. But there’s never rlly a self taught original singer that is 12 years old and has like 3 albums.

It's a very special treat to see such unique acts in the finals. Usually contortionists and jugglers are eliminated early on. But, Sofie and Victor were my favorites by far. It's a shame one of them didn't win. Sofie is self taught and at a very high skill level. She is amazing on the aerial bar, an incredible contortionist, handbalancer, and choreographer. Victor was a top notch juggler and a great choreographer as well. It sucks that they weren't even in the top three... but that goes to show that many voters don't vote based on talent and skill. If you think a girl playing a ukulele while singing original lyrics takes more talent than what Victor or Sophie do, you must be out of your mind. Grace is talented and I'm happy for her, but she should not have taken the win.

Well it's about talent, being able to sing so beautiful is a talent that can't be earned through training as you can see.Of course Victor and Sofia worked for their skills a lot but this show is about TALENT(like.. God given talent).From judges point of view, but people who vote are you guys...so if people prefer a 12 years old girl playing the ukelele and singing beautifuly than here we go

I have read many comments that Grace shouldn't have won because she doesn't have a great voice, but she rightfully won because she is a real artist. I'd put her in the same category as Bob Dylan. Dylan is my favorite performing artist, but based solely on his voice, of course he wouldn't have made it. Grace's voice is flawed and raspy and I happen to love it. She's authentic and at such a young age already knows who she is as an artist. If she had sung other people's songs, esp without her ukelele, I don't think she would have made it past the audition. But that's not what she's about.Congrats to her.

Yes, it is just my opinion. Art is all subjective. There are no rights or wrongs, like there are in math and science. I loved Sofie and was very disappointed that acts I didn't care for or got bored of -- like the Clairvoyants -- came out ahead of her. In fact, Sofie was the only act I gave 10 votes to. I bet she worked harder than any of the contestants and her skill and beauty were mesmerizing. Hopefully she'll have a successful career.

I think one of the reasons they put her on stage to sing her first song a second time and then introduce Stevie Nicks is to show someone with a raspy and imperfect voice can be hugely successful. She has had a very long career with Fleetwood Mac and she had a successful solo career in there as well and her voice is far from perfect. I am very happy for Grace and though I wish someone else would have won simply because we already know Grace was going to be signed by someone to a record deal. The adult acts may never have another chance like this to be successful on that level. Any one of the top 10 acts deserved to win ( well for me Tape Face was the exception ). I have been watching AGT for 8 years and I have never seen a finale like they had Tuesday night where every act was great. Hell the only noticeable mistake of the night was Victor dropping one ball briefly. I would call that a great night.

I was bored of the Clairvoyants and the magic acts. I dislike the "dangerous" acts even though they are truly edge-of-the-seat dangerous I also find them monotonous. I mean how many times can you watch someone swallow a sword or build a tree of 20 chairs and do a handstand on the top? It's amazing skill but to me it's not a talent of an art form. As far as tonight's finals, I think Sal rightfully didn't get the win. He has a good voice but he's nothing special IMO. I loved Janya (sp?). She was amazing and so likable. And I love Sofie, and of course Grace and Laura. All of those girls deserved the win.

Sharon Bass The thing is AGT is a talent competition and not all about singing. I get tired of all the fucking singing shows. I do agree Sal was not really a great act and as I said I am not a fan of Tape Face, but the rest all deserved to be there and any one of them deserved to win it. We have the friggin Voice on two times a year. American Idol finally died and ended and X-Factor bombed on US TV because the format is just been beat to death. Let's see and get behind other talents besides singing.

I agree with you totally. Bruce Springsteen is another singer that comes to mind who was always accused of having a bad singing voice, but that didn't stop him from becoming a legend.

Rebecca martinez Of course she can sing, but did you see what Sofie could do? Not many people have flexibility on that level. And don’t forget balance. So many people can sing and yes, her voice is very unique, yet I still think Sofie should’ve won. I still love Grace, but I think she should have gotten second.

Laura is jumping like a young girl at 2:39 after seeing that dress. Then I remembered that she still is. I was also reminded that Sofie and Grace were too when admiring the dress.

Sophie should have won because not many people are that kind of talent! I still love Grace, but Sophie was amazing
